How NOT to Grow Your Chiropractic Practice
RIP Subluxation
Chiropractic Practice Management — Watch today’s video by Dr. James Saeli, AMC Right Start Director, as he reports on the state of the subluxation complex.
Why Chiropractors Need a Coach to Succeed
Chiropractic Practice Management — Although chiropractors are generally hardworking, dedicated professionals who strive to correct subluxations in order to benefit the overall wellbeing of their patients and community, they still might be clueless on how to run an efficient and profitable practice. Technique expertise and talent are not enough.
Matter of fact, the myth upon graduating simply isn’t true. We’ve all heard it before. Get your degree, drive down the road until you run out of gas, throw up a shingle, and watch the new patients flood in. Any chiropractor practicing in today’s economy will tell you it’s simply not true!
So where does one start?
The Importance of Training Staff
Chiropractic Practice Management — In today’s video blog, Dr. Tom Boch, AMC Northeast Director, discusses the importance of training staff. Make sure you also pay attention to the part that reveals why hiring the correct chiropractic staff member is absolutely essential to the success of your chiropractic practice.
5 Warning Signs Chiropractors Should Monitor For Proper Staff Development
Chiropractic Practice Management — One of the areas in business management that is consistently overlooked is staff development. Most chiropractors dislike the management side of running a chiropractic business because their hearts are dedicated to serving their patients.
The reason why so many doctors continue to improve their clinical skills and techniques long after graduation is that they are designed by nature to be passionate healers. However, they are not necessarily inwardly driven to improve their business skills or knowledge in practice management and as a result, the business side of their practice usually has room for improvement.
How Chiropractors Can Set Goals That Lead to Success
Chiropractic Practice Management — If you had one wish, what would it be? It’s fun to imagine the possibilities. Most of us would choose something that we think would bring us happiness, which leads me to the next question. What makes you happy? Is it the thought of more money? A big house? Looking ten years younger? It may shock you to find out that these things really don’t bring us the pleasure that we think they will.
The field of positive psychology, a discipline that investigates what leads to happiness, has made a surprising discovering. Studies have shown that contentment and meaning in life are not achieved by winning the lottery or being young and beautiful. Instead, one source of happiness comes from the pursuit and attainment of goals.
Goals give new meaning to everything you do. Something that may be thought of routine or mundane takes on new purpose when it is leading you one step closer to attaining a goal.

Why Times of Recession are Exciting Times to be a Chiropractor
Chiropractic Practice Management — One only has to pick up a newspaper or turn on the TV to know the economic state of this country is in tough peril. Many of you reading this may not even have to do that. One look at your recent bottom line may tell you more than you wanted to know about current economics.
I understand that many chiropractic practices will suffer devastating losses from which they may never recover during this difficult time, however, I am also optimistic that there will be some in the chiropractic profession who will prosper more than ever and the impact upon the profession will be a positive one. History shows that chiropractic does very well during tough times. Why? Because chiropractic is the best value for the patient’s dollar. During a recession people don’t necessarily stop spending their money, they just become more discerning about where and how they spend their money. They are looking for the most value.
